Guyana Arts & Cultural Centre — Preserving Our Heritage

The Guyana Arts & Cultural Centre is a bold vision for Guyanese cultural preservation — a multidisciplinary folk art museum, media centre, and performance space designed to support artists and provide space to document, collect, preserve, and interpret the creative works of Guyanese artists from around the world.

In the Diamond Jubilee year, preserving Guyanese culture has never been more important. This centre will document oral histories and folk traditions, collect artworks and cultural artefacts from the diaspora, preserve threatened cultural expressions for future generations, and host performances, exhibitions, and workshops year-round.
